FAQ

  • How do I book with Lexi?

Please fill out the Tattoo Submission form

Where you can include your ideas and inspiration photos.
There is online booking for Cosmetic Tattooing.

  • Can I use numbing cream for the tattoo?

Please don’t apply numbing cream before your appointment. These products can alter the skin, make it harder to tattoo, and affect how the tattoo heals. It’s also normal for your body to build up natural adrenaline at the start of the session. If needed, Lexi may use her own numbing products during the appointment to help keep you comfortable.

  • What type of payment is accepted?

Cash is preferred. E-transfer is accepted. Credit card is an additional 3%.

Save 5% if you bring cash to your appointment

  • Is my deposit refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable and non transferrable, no exceptions.

Deposits are forfeited if you cannot make your appointment and do not provide 72 hours notice to reschedule. They are held in trust until your last appointment and come off the price of your finished tattoo.

No shows do not get rebooked.

  • Can minors get tattooed?

No—clients must be 18 or older to get tattooed. There are no exceptions.

  • Is my tattoo designed custom for me?

Yes every tattoo is drawn custom to fit and flow in an aesthetically pleasing way that compliments your body.

  • Can I bring a friend to my appointment?

For smaller tattoos, you’re welcome to bring a friend along. For longer sessions (3+ hours), it’s best to come on your own. Extra people can be distracting and may slow down the process, and long wait times can be uncomfortable for them as well. In general, coming solo helps keep your appointment focused and running smoothly.

  • Do you do cover ups tattoos?

Yes—black and grey cover-ups are one of Lexi’s specialties. She takes great pride in transforming existing tattoos into refined, cohesive pieces, using her expertise to seamlessly blend old work into new designs with precision and artistry.

  • Do you do small tattoos?

Yes—Lexi is always happy to take on small tattoos and makes time for them alongside larger projects.

  • How long does a tattoo take to heal?

On average, a person's skin cycle lasts around 5-6 weeks, meaning it takes about that long for new skin cells to fully mature and replace old ones at the surface of the skin; however, this can vary depending on factors like age, skin type, and overall health. Tattoos can feel healed in 1-2 weeks but are still technically healing up to 6 weeks and it is important to follow the aftercare until then. Scar tissue can take longer.

  • How do I heal my new tattoo?

Every artist has their own approach to healing, and you may hear a few different methods. Personally, I’ve been using the same method on my own tattoos for the past 16 years, and it has worked consistently well for both me and my clients. You can find my detailed step-by-step aftercare instructions here: [Aftercare Link]

Following the aftercare properly is the best way to ensure your tattoo heals clean, vibrant, and long-lasting.
